First Indian to win the ‘Conspiracy Novel of the Year’ award.

NEW YORK: Indian novelist Nikhil Chandwani has become the first Indian author and second Asian overall to win the ‘Conspiracy Novel of the Year Award’ for his novel, ‘Coded Conspiracy’, from the American Literary Forum Society, last month.
Chandwani is a bestselling author of the novel ‘I wrote your name in the sky’, two poetry books and over 30 travel documentaries for various TV channels. He is at present also working as a script writer and an Associate Director for an upcoming Hollywood Movie, “Spider in the Window”.
The synopsis of the award-winning novel says,
“Meet the unlucky young college going students: Neil and Pankaj, two young tech understanding undergraduates of Mumbai University who adore playing pranks on people, specifically the lecturers. Neil’s love for Megha, the sweet Punjabi girl, generates a new twist in their lives as they get indulged in playing more and more tricks, this time spreading their reach beyond the university campus. Neil’s thirst of showing off his talent and elated by the strings of success, they go to the level of revealing a great scam and even before they wake up to tell the whole world about it, the people behind it traps them and they become the target of R.A.W. for hacking. As Pankaj gets caught, Neil escapes with Megha and tries to get them out of the vicious trap.”
The novel was published in May of this year by Rectitude Publishing House.
According to the Broadway World, the book is available on Uread.com for buyers in the US. Chandwani received a trophy and an enclosed check with a winning certificate from the forum. He has previously won National Award in Indian literature for excellence in poetry and U.K. Writers’ Award From U.K. Forum. He is also a New York Forum Youth Director award-winning Director. Chandwani has written three crime thrillers and two poetry books until now.
