NEW DELHI: Ranveer Singh, the ever energetic actor, has bagged a meaty endorsement deal with the brand Chings. He will not only be promoting the brand but will also rap for it.
The actor initially rapped for the title track of his second film Ladies v/s Ricky Behl under the Yash Raj Banner and got popularity as a rapper. After that he carried on rapping in award functions and events until he bagged the brand endorsement of Durex condoms. Ranveer’s rap ‘DO The Rex’ for Durex received huge appraisal. He wrote the lyrics for Durex and will be writing for Chings too.
Ranveer’s friend, Shaad Ali, will be directing the advertisement who is also the director of his upcoming film Kill Dil. Moreover, the music for this will be composed by the popular musician trio – Shankar Ehsaan and Loy.
Chings is a Chinese brand that offers a wide variety of Chinese products from sauce to noodles.
On the Bollywood front, Ranveer is currently busy with certain projects which includes Kill Dil starring Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar, produced under Yash Raj banner along with Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do starring Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, and Anil Kapoor. He will later start the shoot schedule for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani which also stars Deepika Padukone.
Other than that he has shown his generous side to his lady love for working for free as a dead husband in Finding Fanny.
