Duo coming together after the hit ‘Fashion’.

NEW DELHI: After six years, Priyanka Chopra has joined hands with Madhur Bhandarkar for her upcoming film ‘Madamji’.
Both came for the first time together in Bhandarkar’s Fashion which won the National Award. Priyanka always wished to work with Bhandarkar after that but could not get a script she liked.
Now that they are back, Priyanka will be playing the lead in the film as well as co-producing it. It will be released under her banner Purple Pebbles Pictures, and will be co-produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and Ram Mirchandani’s Rampage Motion Pictures.
Priyanka is excited for the project and in the idea of being involved as a producer in the film. Expressing her love for cinema, she stated that she is in love with the process, the creativity, the magic that movies create and she is looking forward to the learning, the madness and the creative satisfaction that she will get.
With this step, she will join the campus of Anushka Sharma who too has turned producer with her next NH10.
Further revealing her new venture with Bhandarkar, Priyanka was all praise for the filmmaker, and stated that she shares a wonderful working relationship with him.
Madamji is a women centric story which revolves around an item girl who climbs the ladder of success traversing the road to become a top notch politician. Earlier, Bhandarkar has given the glimpse of the gloomy world of politics starring Raveena Tandon in Satta. The film will go on the floors in October.
