App deletes text, has a self-destruct timer too.

BANGALORE: It’s always an oops! moment when a message is sent to someone for whom it was not meant to. But now, a new app is here to delete such messages even before the receiver reads it.
The app named Invisible Text allows users to delete messages after they are sent to someone by accident. The app is now available for free download in Android, iOS and Blackberry platforms.
The app can be useful only for immediate use as it’s quite possible that the receivers might have already read the message before deleting.
Invisible Text users can send videos, texts, voice messages and picture messages and even set a self-destruct timer if the sender fails to read the message in a stipulated time.
The app also has an additional security feature which automatically locks the phone once it is in the standby mode. The app stores only message-ids and statuses in the server. The messages get saved in the cache of the smartphone, which is automatically deleted after the conversation.
According to the official Google Play page of Invisible Text, it uses a patented technology which ensures that messages are transferred securely as data through smartphones, tablets and computers.
The statement for Invisible Text reads “Without the correct device information, user ID and password, messages cannot be decrypted. This prevents message interception, thereby helping to preserve a person’s privacy and protect against identity theft. To date, no other solution can ensure secure data transmission between two devices, including a smartphone, smart TV, computer, tablet, or radio or webcam.”
Like all other apps, Invisible Text also requires the reserve to have the app installed on a smartphone to delete messages. So don’t send banter to your boss thinking that you can delete it because if he doesn’t have the app, you might get a slap (a virtual one, luckily).
