MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor was spotted at the long pending shoot of his upcoming film Roy, in Malaysia.
The actor, who is playing a lead role as a thief in the film that also stars Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles, was seen wearing a blue striped shirt and flashy glares, a seemingly not-so-formal look for the film.
The star was reportedly accosted by some adoring fans. Not one to let them down, Ranbir signed autographs for a female fan and was snapped while doing so.
Of late, the actor had seemed to be hard-pressed for time as he has a number of big projects lined up, Jagga Jasoos and Tamasha being the frontrunners.
Meanwhile, co-actor Arjun Rampal has quashed reports claiming a tiff between him and his co-star Ranbir Kapoor during the shoot of ‘Roy’. He said they are good friends and there is no animosity between them.
Arjun shot some portions of ‘Roy’ but had to hold back for the next schedule as Ranbir was unavailable for the shoot. Initially Ranbir was to do just a cameo in ‘Roy’, but later the length of his role was increased. There were rumors about Arjun’s dissatisfaction with the delay.
On being asked about the tiff, Arjun said: “Ranbir and I are very good friends. There has never been any sort of problem between us.”
The action thriller film is directed by debutante Vikramjit Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Divya Khosla Kumar. It is scheduled to release in February, 2015.
