MUMBAI: Actor Hrithik Roshan has grooved to the style of his idol, the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, in his forthcoming film Bang Bang! While the dance has been inspired by the legend, it’s better to call it, MJ-Hrithik style.
The teaser of the song have Hrithik and Katrina Kaif setting the stage ablaze with their chemistry.
Hrithik has idolized Michael Jackson for all his life, and he used to learn the moves through play and pause mode for hours.
“I love his style and energy! So, when Bosco (choreographer) and Sid (director Siddharth Anand) said ‘Michael Jackson’, at first I thought there’s no way I could match up, but then I reframed that and did it for my love for him in my own style, my own way,” Hrithik said in a statement.
“It’s my ode to the inspiration he (Michael Jackson) has been,” said Hrithik who thoroughly enjoyed the shoot of the song.
Speaking of Katrina, the Bollywood actress who is constantly under media scrutiny spoke to ‘Mid Day’ about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and the possibility of marriage.
After being spotted in a bikini on their vacation in Ibiza last year with beau Ranbir, the couple became extra cautious with their public appearances and hangouts together.
When asked if she is now comfortable talking about her relationship with Ranbir, she said, “Ranbir is a huge part of my life. But I am not getting married in the near future and I have not thought about it. I barely speak about my relationships. This is a stand I decided to take at an early stage of my career.”
According to the promos of the film, a chance encounter of the unassuming bank receptionist Harleen Sahni (Katrina Kaif) with the charming yet mysterious Rajveer Nanda (Hrithik Roshan), results in an on-rush of ditched planes, car chases, shoot-outs, bombing raids and general global mayhem.
But as the transcontinental chase ensues with Rajveer convincing Harleen that he’s the good guy, can she really trust him, and will trust matter when the bullets start flying?
Bang Bang! is set to hit the screens on October 2.
