BENGALURU: The year 2014 was eventful with various smartphones from top manufacturers hitting stores around the world. A lot of these phones failed to entice users and forced manufacturers to take them out of the market. But a few smartphone went on to become massive revenue generators for manufacturers. Let’s check out a few Android smartphones that emerged as the best in the premium class.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 ($699.99/Rs. 47,990): The Galaxy Note 4 is a 5.7 inch phablet with a high-resolution touchscreen display and a brilliant 16 MP camera with optical image stabilization. This smartphone was highlighted for its style and highly efficient battery that charges very fast. Note 4 is still a best buy option for people who like writing on a big screen using a pen.
Though Galaxy Note 4 produces excellent images in outdoor conditions, the image quality of the device in low light conditions is a bit granny. If you are looking for a similar smartphone under a slightly lower price range, it would be better to consider LG G3, but if you are brand conscious and gives high weightage for the premium design (don’t forget the leather back cover) offered by Samsung, Galaxy Note 4 is the device that you will love owning.
