Likely to be priced on the lines of Xiaomi Mi4.

BENGALURU: The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus will launch a 16GB version of its recently unveiled OnePlus One handset in India at a cheaper price. The company had launched the Sandstone Black 64GB version of the same via Amazon last month for Rs. 21,999.
Like its predecessor, the upcoming cheaper version of OnePlus One will be available only via invite through Amazon. An official post that appeared in OnePlus One forum India read, “The 16GB Silk White OnePlus One is making its way to Amazon India. Very soon, our 16GB variant will be available for purchase. To celebrate the Silk White’s arrival, we are giving away the first India-specific invites for this model to some lucky fans.”
Buyers who require an invite will have to answer a question and complete an online registration form. If chosen, the registered buyers will get a formal invitation from OnePlus on February 23 to buy the smartphone.
The upcoming version of the device will be priced in line with Xiaomi Mi4, which has similar specifications and priced at Rs.19,999.
OnePlus One has a 5.5 inches, 1080p touchscreen display which is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core processor with Adreno 330 GPU. The operational capacity and performance of the device is enhanced by Qualcomm’s heterogeneous computing approach.
The powerful processor of OnePlus One is coupled with 3 GB of LP-DDR3 RAM running at 1866MHz, allowing a flawless multitasking experience.
Also, the Snapdragon processor is equipped with a 4G LTE multimode modem, enabling faster internet across six cities in India, where 4G is currently available.
Coming to the camera department of the new device, OnePlus has used a Sony Exmor 13 MP IMX21 rear camera that can produce astounding images. Adding to this the phone also has a dual LED flash to brighten the image.
OnePlus One also has an impressive 5 megapixel front camera for selfie enthusiasts, giving an extra-wide 80º viewing angle that can capture more area than normal smartphones.
