Mangoes, vim bar of soap, and now a stone.

BENGALURU: Flipkart, the Bangalore-based e-commerce company, is once again on the defensive after a customer who ordered laptops got stone packed inside one of the package; this just 24 hours after another buyer reported the same problem.
This is not the first time that an online buyer has complained about such an issue. Snapdeal and Amazon customers had earlier lodged complaints after they reportedly received stones, and in one such case a Vim bar soap instead of a smartphone.
Twitter account handler with id @GabbarKhushHua posted the image of the stone inside the package with a side note, “Ordered 3 lappy for our office,#flipkart nd only 1 came along with this rock.”
Earlier during last week, another Flipkart customer, this time from Telangana, received two mangoes instead of an order that he placed for an Asus smartphone. According to media reports, he had placed an order (OD002947033911410000) for Asus Zenfone 5 – a Flipkart exclusive product – during the mega sale conducted on May 26. The customer was reportedly asked by the Flipkart support team not to take the issue to the social media, failing which would result in the blocking of his order.
Flipkart later sent him an email saying, “We would like to inform you that your recent replacement order has been cancelled as we have noticed an unwarranted return, which do not comply with our Returns Policy.”
“I have been getting varied answers whenever I complain about the wrong delivery. In a mail sent by representatives of the e-commerce company, they even threatened to block my order if I took this issue to the social media. I am planning to take help of a consumer forum if this problem is not addressed soon,” said the desperate Flipkart customer.
