Meenavalli’s team will participate in the Major League Gaming World Finals.

A 14-year-old student from Hyderabad is going to represent India in the Major League Gaming World Finals of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Tournament. The tournament is scheduled to take place at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans in America from October 16 to 18.
Ganesh Meenavalli, who heads a four-member team, will compete with 176 teams from 130 countries. Of this, 32 will be shortlisted for the finals and the winners will get a cash prize of $500,000. The tournament is open to players in 12-24 years age group.
Meenavalli came to know about the tournament through a Facebook post and he formed a group with his friends to take part in the league. He is being sponsored by Kling sports, a start-up e-sports management company.
A ninth standard student from Oakridge International School in Hyderabad, Meenavalli was introduced into gaming when he was four years old. He has said that his will be the first ever team from India to participate in the tournament.
Meenavalli has a popular YouTube channel with more than 1,300 subscribers, where he comments on games and earns money out of it. Meenavalli wishes to make a career out of his gaming talent.
