Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a host of celebrities including Indian cricketers, Bollywood stars and politicians attended the high profile wedding reception of Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and the model turned actress Geeta Basra.
Former prime minister Manmohan Singh, cricketers MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Virendra Sehwag, former Punjab Director General of Police KPS Gill attended the function at a posh Hotel in New Delhi.
Also present at the reception were Indian cricketers Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and his wife, Ravichandran Ashwin and his father, Team India Director Ravi
Shastri, Indian Premier League Commissioner and Congress MP Rajeev Shukla and his wife and pacer Munaf Patel.
Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra were also on the guest list. According to media reports, the star-studded ceremony was attended by more than 1,000 guests.

More than 500 members attended mehendi and sangeet ceremonies including cricketers Parthiv Patel, Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh.
The 35-year-old Indian off-spinner’s long-time girlfriend Geeta Basra started her acting career with Emraan Hashmi-starrer ‘Dil Diya Hai’ in 2006. Her second release, ‘The Train’ (2007), was also opposite to Hashmi. She also acted in ‘Second hand husband’, ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’ and ‘Bhaiyyaji superhit’. Born in Portsmouth, UK, Basra currently resides in Mumbai.
