Mindy Kaling’s ‘Why Not Me?’ among Amazon’s top 100 books of 2015

The book features on both the print and Kindle lists.

Indian American comedian Mindy Kaling’s Why Not Me? has been named as one of  the “2015 Best Books of the Year” by Amazon.

The book also features in the “The Top 100 in Kindle Format” and the best Audiobooks category as well.

Why Not Me? is the second book of The Mindy Project creator and star. The first one, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns), published in 2001, was a New York Times bestseller.

An elated Kaling tweeted: “Thanks @Amazon for naming #Whynotme one of the top books of 2015! I think it makes a great holiday present, too.”

Lauren Groff ‘s Fates and Furies: A Novel is the best book in both the print and Kindle formats.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, a former Washington Post reporter and daughter of Pakistani immigrants, figures high on both the lists.
