The South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its new Galaxy A9 smartphone in China, on Wednesday.
The Galaxy A9 features a huge 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, a 13-megapixel primary camera with OIS and ƒ/1.9 aperture, and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.
It has an impressive and huge 4,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The non-removable battery is packed with QuickCharge technology. Storage capacity can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The handset comes in white, gold and pink color variants. It also sports the same metal frame and glass body design as seen in other premium Galaxy handsets such as Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6.
On the connectivity part, the Galaxy A9 features Dual SIM (nano+nano), 4G, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, ANT+ and Micro USB.
The price and availability of the smartphone is yet to be revealed.
