Four years after the success of Ra-One, Shahrukh Khan is planning to make a sequel to the film that introduced a desi superhero for the first time.
In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Khan said that he will definitely make the sequel to the film.
“I will 100 percent make the sequel. There are no two ways about it. By nature I am not someone to give up on a dream – be it KKR or Ra-One,” he said.
Collection-wise, the film was a success, but there was some negativity around when it was released, he said. He added that some people from the film industry itself tried to pull down the film in a period when his Indian Premiere League team Kolkata Knight Riders was also in some trouble.
Khan said he is going to surprise the audience by making a better film with the help of technology. He revealed that the sequel will be called G-One.
