The inaugural India-U.S. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) conference will be held over two days in March in Florida.
Themed, “Leveraging the Power of Partnerships, in the New Digital Age”, the two-day conference is being organized by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce in partnership with TV18, on March 29-30. The details of the venue were not given in a press release.
At the meet, two million job creations for both offshore and domestic Indian businesses will be targeted, said the organizers. This summit will also boost the confidence of the Indian business community showcasing the ‘New – Digital India,’ a statement said.
Top executives from leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms, including Aegis, Concentrix, Genpact, HGS, Integra Global, SITEL, TCS, TBSS, Teleperformance, Quatrro and Wipro are expected to attend the meet.
The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC-NIC) in a statement said this first of its kind industry initiative is in sync with the combined vision of the Indian and the U.S. government – of a five folds growth in the Indo-U.S. bilateral trade–from the current $100 billion to $500 billion, as well as creating a new wave of growth for the services industry.
“Growth depends on our ability to scale up effectively. Today’s BPO partners offer agility and flexibility to businesses to remain relevant in this highly competitive landscape,” said Raman Roy, chairman, Quatrro and IACC-NIC Summit chairperson. “This Summit aims to present the collaborative solutions from the Indian BPO industry to our largest client market – U.S.”
Lalit Bhasin, regional president, IACC-NIC, said the summit aims to create synergies between the business communities of both the nations, which are set to be the major contributors to this vision.
