Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas will host the third season of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ to be telecast by Sony TV.
Various reports say that Vishwas, who is also a poet, will replace actor Salman Khan who anchored the previous two editions.
The Times of India reported that the makers of the show have approached the politician and he has expressed his interest in hosting the show that went off the air in 2009.
Siddharth Basu, the producer of the show, wanted to rope in Salman Khan, but they couldn’t arrive at a consensus regarding remuneration. If media reports are to be believed, the actor had asked money equivalent to his fee for the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.
Earlier Khan had demanded $3 million for only participating in ‘Bigg Boss’ and he declared that he would donate the money to the war widow fund.
Salman Khan will return as the host for ‘Bigg Boss 10’ and his girlfriend Lulia Vantur will also be there in the show, said reports. He will also be part of another show named ‘The Farm’ in which the participants will be seen farming, harvesting and even milking their own cows.
