Book breaks records in both fiction and non-fiction categories.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s autobiography ‘Playing it my way’ has become a blockbuster hit and has entered the Limca Book of Records for being the best-selling adult hardcover across both fiction and non-fiction categories.
“Sachin Tendulkar’s autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’ published by Hachette India was released on Nov 6, 2014, and broke all records for an adult hardback across both fiction and non-fiction categories with 1,50,289 copies confirmed on order subscriptions,” a statement on the official website of Limca Book of Records said.
The book co-authored by Boria Majumdar has broken the record of some best-seller adult hardcovers like JK Rowling’s Casual Vacancy, Dan Brown authored Inferno and Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs. Sale of the book from the first day onwards showed a sharply rising trend.
The book has a confirmed order of 150289 copies so far and the retail sale of the book also has a record value of $1.96 million.
