It is not always that a US-based company launch smartphones and gadgets exclusive for the Indian market, that too for affordable price. But it seems like Infocus, the Oregon-based company, is thinking the other way round.
Infocus, which launched a few “M” series affordable smartphones in the Indian market during the last year is now entering the highly competitive display market as the company on Friday announced the launch of high-end LED TVs in India.
The company has also devised an innovate marketing strategy for their upcoming high-end televisions, which like the company’s smartphones, will be available only through online e-commerce websites. According to Infocus, it going to offer a free home demo of the TVs to prospective buyers, which is something that not many companies in India have offered through e-commerce websites.
The company has announced that it will first launch Infocus 50-inch HD TV via partnering with e-commerce giant Snapdeal and interested people can request for a free demo at their home before buying the product.
Sachin Thapar, country head, InFocus India said “We are excited to announce our new range of LED TVs for the Indian consumers. We have used the best display panels in our TVs, which ensures that the viewing experience is on par with what any global player can offer, in this category.”
The company claims that they have equipped the Infocus Full HD TV’s with a next generation Gen 10 Sharp panel developed in Japan, which is touted to give users a vivid and immersive viewing experience.
Adding to this, the company also says it has bundled the TV’s with Smart UV2A technology, which will get rid of the usual light leakage by using special pixel structure. The new technology absorbs the extra light emitted thus creating a low-reflection and balanced brightness.
InFocus KING SIZE premium LED TVs boast unsurpassed picture quality and promise completely immersive entertainment with 1080p True Full HD resolution along with 178-degree viewing angle.
In the initial phase, Infocus will be launching Full HD TV’s of 60″, 50″, 32″ and 24″ screen sizes, both high end and low. Users can buy the new Infocus Full HD TV’s exclusively on Snapdeal, starting from February 29.
