Police arrested two people on charges of death due to negligence.

Chennai: One person died and nine others have been injured in an accident at Kishkinta, a theme park near suburaban Tambaram on Wednesday when the ride crashed while being tested.
According to police, the dead person, identified as Manikandan, and the nine injured are employees of the park.
The accident took place on a Ferris Wheel which was being revived over the last few days after the recent floods.
Police registered case under IPC section dealing with death due to negligence and arrested the proprietor Jose Punnoose(58) and HR manager Sakthivelan (43).
Jose is son of M. Chacko Punnoose, also known as Navodaya Appachan, a well-known film producer in Kerala, who had made many hit movies including India’s first 3D movie My dear kuttichathan.
The injured were admitted to Deepam Hospital in the city’s Tambaram area.
