Aamir Khan, Bollywood’s perfectionist superstar has said to media that he hopes to reunite with Salman Khan for the sequel of their 1994 super hit ‘Andaz Apna Apna’.
Aamir Khan had enacted the character of Amar in the iconic comedy film from the director Rajkumar Santoshi and Salman Khan enacted the part of Prem.
“I would love to do ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’ with Salman. I hope to work with him again but only if the right script and film comes up. I’m sure both of us would love to do it,” Aamir, who is busy with the shooting of upcoming biopic ‘Dangal’, said.
Aamir’s words came as a reaction to the reports that says Preethi Sinha, daughter of Vinay Sinha, has given the film rights to the production house Phantom Films and upcoming sequel will be helmed by Vikas or Vikramaditya Motwane.
The script of the forthcoming film, developed by Vivek Soni and Hardik Mehta, has been locked and the film would be rolled out by the year’s end, Mumbai Mirror reported.
As far as Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Sultan’ is concerned, Aamir Khan was all praise for Salman’s wrestler look.
“He looks hot in langot too. He is gifted guy and I admire him and he is very handsome and charming person. We all are fond of him,” Aamir said.
The story of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ revolved around two conmen, played by Aamir and Salman, who are vying to woo and wed a rich heiress, Raveena Tandon, little knowing that she is really the secretary, Karisma Kapoor, who has switched identities with her mistress. The movie was released on 11 April 1994 and is still regarded as one of the best films of all times.
