Gadkari has a packed schedule on US trip.

Nitin Gadkari, India’s Minister for Roads, Transport, Highways and Shipping, visited Washington, DC, on Monday, and attended a dinner hosted by India’s Ambassador to the US, Arun Singh, at his residence. Gadkari will also visit New York for two days.
During his two days in the Big Apple, Gadkari will be visiting the New York City State Transport Department to discuss and identify areas of mutual cooperation in the field of intelligent transport management, city traffic management, and control center and other technology- based transport solutions.
Gadkari is also expected to have a series of interactions with investors at the meets organized by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Business Council on International Understanding and Goldman Sachs, apart from others.
The interactions with the investors are to follow up the deliberations at the Maritime India Summit in Mumbai where a large number of US companies had evinced keen interest in promoting bilateral cooperation with India in Maritime sector.
Besides, the delegation led by Gadkari would have detailed deliberations with the participating US companies for technology cooperation in road and highway building, road engineering, innovations in automobile sector, road safety and green fuels.
