Special screenings, menu based on superstar’s films.

Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Kabali’ may set a new trend with its release on July 22 as the filmmakers are making all efforts to ensure that the movie gets maximum publicity, including screening in some five star hotels in Bengaluru.
According to a report in The Times of India, some star hotels in Bengaluru are all set to screen the premiere of ‘Kabali’ after an agreement was reached with the filmmakers.
“It will be screened at JW Mariott (Vittal Mallya Road), Lalit Ashok, Royal Orchid (Yelahanka), Crown Plaza (Electronic City) with sound effects and Canon screens for three days, starting Friday. Four shows, with a seating capacity of 300 for each, will be held every day,” Anand G, director, Lahari Music, was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
Meanwhile, some hotels in Chennai are trying to cash in on the popularity of the movie in a different way. GRT Hotels in T Nagar, Chennai, will be welcoming customers with a special menu based on Rajinikanth’s films.
“We have picked some of the best Rajini movies, starting with ‘Apoorva Raagangal’. We have taken each movie name and creatively interpreted it into our food,” Vikram Cotah, COO, GRT Hotels told Times of India.
