The question ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?’ is finally getting an answer.
Karan Johar, who has acquired the rights of the big budget movie, on Friday, announced that ‘Baahubali: The conclusion’ will release on April 28, 2017.
“Dharma Productions and AA films are honored and proud to associate once again with the genius @ssrajamouli’s vision” Karan tweeted.
In his next tweet the film-maker revealed the release date of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, as April 28 next year.
SS Rajamouli has been busy with the shooting of the film, which features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, among others.
Larnell Stovall, who worked on “The Hunger Games” series and salman Khan’s “Sultan”, is also part of the film. Morne Van Tonder, who had worked in “The Hobbit” franchise, is key stunt rigger for the climax.
The first part of the film, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, had broken several records and fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the second part.
It has been reported that the second part will feature a huge war sequence, much grander than what was shown in the first part, that will last for around an hour.
Originally to be made in Telugu, ‘Baahubali 2’ will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam as well.
