Chinese actress Zhu Zhu will be seen romancing Salman Khan in Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’.
Zhu Zhu, who is currently shooting for the movie in Ladakh, took to Instagram to share a phot with Salman Khan and captioned it, “On the top of the palace with Mr #salmankhan @ Leh Ladakh”. The actress later deleted the photo.
She also shared on location photographs of Ladakh in which she is seen enjoying the beauty of the region.
Zhu Zhu started her career as a VJ and tasted fame with winning a local singing contest in Beijing. She starred in movies such as What Women Want, Shanghai Calling, The Man with the Iron Fists and Last Flight. She was also seen in Netflix’s Marco Polo.
The 32-year-old actress flew down to Mumbai on August 3 to take a couple of lessons in Hindi, after which she began to shoot in Ladakh from August 8, reports say.
The movie, which is set with the Indo-China 1962 war as background, is Salman Khan’s third collaboration with Kabir Khan after blockbusters ‘Ek tha tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. It is a love story between an Indian man and a Chinese woman and Salman will be seen as a man with special needs.
Written by Neelesh Misra, the film is being produced by Salman Khan, Kabir Khan and Sunil Lulla. Pritam will compose the music for the film that is set to hit theatres next year.
