Former comedian and television talk show host David Letterman will come back to TV shows with a session of “Years of Living Dangerously,” a documentary series on climate change and solar energy to be aired on National Geographic channel.
Surprisingly, Letterman has interviewed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the documentary, reported Scroll. This was the third interview given by Modi after taking over as the prime minister. Earlier Modi had given interviews to Times Now, and Network 18.
“I am not nervous but very very excited,” Letterman said in a preview of the upcoming episode.
“Is there a way three-hundred to four-hundred million without electricity can go right to solar? †he is seen asking Modi in the video.
“If the world helps me with technology, helps me with resources, I will be the very first person to switch over to clean energy completely,†replied Modi.
Apart from the session hosted by Letterman, there will be seven more episodes of the TV series. The second season of the show features guests including Ty Burrell, James Cameron, Don Cheadle, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olivia Munn, Ian Somerhalder and Cecily Strong.
The episode hosted by Letterman has been named ‘Into the Light’ and will be aired on 30 October.
