‘Kaabil’ features Hrithik and Yami as a visually impaired couple.
Actors Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam released the trailer of their upcoming thriller ‘Kaabil’ suddenly on Tuesday after realising that the trailer was already out due to a leak generating from unknown sources.
Initially, producer Rakesh Roshan and his team slated Wednesday, October 26, for the release of the movie’s trailer but once it is leaked 15 hours ahead of time they decided to release it through the official handle.
“We had planned our marketing and PR strategy around the actual date of the trailer launch. Now everything had to be changed at the last minute. I’m shocked and saddened at this hacking or stealing or whatever it is. It’s obviously with a malicious intent. What pleasure can someone get by doing this? It’s just hurtful. But now we have upped the ante and are being even more vigilant around the movie release,” Times of India quoted Rakesh Roshan.
Now, the makers are trying every possible way to track down the source and remove it from the internet.
Hrithik and Yami play a blind couple and the movie comes with a tagline ‘The Mind Sees All’. The film also features real life brothers Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy and the music has been composed by Rajesh Roshan.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, ‘Kaabil’ will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ on January 26, 2017.
