Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams is being celebrated for the first time outside India.
The Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple management in New Jersey in association with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that they will be organizing Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam in New Jersey on November 19th and November 20th, 2016.
According to a press release, the auspicious event will give devotees an authentic glimpse of the original Tirupati temple by recreating an atmosphere that mirrors the customary practices in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.
Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam is being celebrated for the first time outside India for which a replica of the Tirumala Temple including the Ananda Nilayam, will be constructed in the 42-acre Sri Krishna Temple Brindavanam.
The organizers have also confirmed that all offerings performed to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala temple will be performed to the deity of the replica temple for a period of two days.
“Tirumala Devasthanam will construct a replica of Tirumala Temple including the Ananda Nilayam, in the sprawling 42 acres Sri Krishna Temple Brindavanam for this special event. All ArjithaSevas that are being offered to Lord Venkateswara from dawn to dusk in Tirumala temple will be performed to the main deity of the replica temple as per the “Agama Sastras”, over a two-day period,” Srinivas Ganagoni, Trustee & Publicity, Chair said in a statement.
