Trump picks Haley as US Ambassador to the UN.
Former Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Nisha Desai Biswal and US Ambassador to India Richard Verma are among prominent personalities who have tweeted welcoming Nikki Haley, named by President-elect Donald Trump as the US Ambassador to the United Nations.
Jindal, who ran against Trump in the GOP primaries, tweeted on Wednesday: ‘Congrats to my friend @NikkiHaley! She has done an outstanding job leading South Carolina and will represent us well at the UN.’
