Trump and Amer get real close on a flight.
As the world is impatiently waiting to know what are the likely policies of the Donald Trump administration, Muslim American stand-up comic Mohammed Amer got a rare opportunity to know more about the new administration.
Amer, who is of Palestinian-origin, ended up sitting next to Eric Trump on a flight to Scotland Wednesday ahead of his UK tour.
Amer used the opportunity to talk to Trump about the likely policies of the upcoming administration and took to Facebook for a revelation along with a selfie with Eric sitting next to him.
In the post, Amer wrote: “Hey guys heading to Scotland to start the U.K. Tour and I am “randomly” chosen to sit next to non other than Eric Trump. Good news guys Muslims will not have to check in and get IDs. That’s what I was told. I will be asking him a lot of questions on this trip to Glasgow, Scotland. Sometimes God just sends you the material.”
He followed the comment with the hash tags #ThisisNotAnEndorsement and #Trump2016ComedyTour.
Comments started pouring in as the Facebook post gained a lot of attention from Amer’s fans.
A person named Siraaj Muhammad wrote: “Ask him what they plan to do about the white supremacists in his father’s team and all of them that support his father from among the people.”
And Sara Wessling commented: “You are a better person than I am Mo. I would have asked to move”, to which the comic replied that the seat was “too comfortable”.
