Google announced the official list of top searches of 2016 and actress Priyanka Chopra is on seventh number in the Oscar Red Carpet Dresses category.

Indian American designer Rachel Roy made is number one in the most searched fashion designers list and Indian designer Anita Dongre is on 7th spot.

Dongre, one of India’s most popular designers, became a rage across the globe after Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore one of her design during India visit.

Jennifer Garner topped the Oscar Red Carpet list with Jennifer Lawrence occupying the second spot.

The top trending search term is “Powerball”, which is in reference to the $1.56 billion jackpot that three ticket holders won in early 2016.

“Prince,” “Hurricane Matthew,” “Pokemon Go” and “” claimed the rest of the top five, while “Trump” and “Hillary Clinton” rounded out the end of the list.

Netflix drama “Stranger Things” and pop sensation “Beyonce” are also among the most popular entertainment sensation of 2016.

Meghan Markle, who is currently dating Prince Harry, is the most searched actress, followed by Marion Cotillard.
