Priyanka co-presented one of the early awards at the ceremony.
Actress Priyanka Chopra marked her Golden Globe debut and co-presented one of the early awards at the ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
The 34-year-old actress chose a “hand embroidered†golden Ralph Lauren gown with a plunging neckline for the event and oxblood jewellery.
“Collecton gold, one-of-a-kind hand-embroidered evening dress. #GoldenGlobes,†read a post on Ralph Lauren’s official Twitter page.
Priyanka, who usually opts for a clean hairdo, took a chance by leaving her hair open. However, she stuck to her trademark bold lips.
The ‘Quantico’ actress took to stage along with ‘The Walking Dead’ star Jeffre Dean Morgan to present the evening’s second award for Best TV Actor – Drama, won by Billy Bob Thornton for ‘Goliath’.
International like Elle UK and Radar featured Priyanka in the best-dressed list. “Best Hello gorgeous! Priyanka Chopra was not only ready for the Golden Globe party, she was glowing golden herself in that dress!†Radar wrote.
But, E Online featured her in the worst dressed category. “Priyanka Chopra is usually a red carpet star. For the Golden Globes, the Quantico star showed up dipped in gold, yet her dress left much to be desired in its fit and styling of the sequins,†they wrote.
Last year, the former Miss World made stunning fashionable debuts at the red carpets of Oscars and Emmys.
The other presenters at the Golden Globe gala includes names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sylvester Stallone, Viola Davis, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana, Mandy Moore, Gal Gadot, Carl Weathers, Drew Barrymore, Matt Damon, Laura Dern, Goldie Hawn, Nicole Kidman, Diego Luna and Sienna Miller.
