Bollywood Singer Mika Singh was among the few Indians to get an invite to the pre-inaugural dinner organized by the incoming president Donald Trump.
The 39-year-old Mika Singh, dressed in his signature black outfit tweeted images of him with the other celebrities who attended the pre-inaugural dinner at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington.
In the tweet that he posted, Singh wrote, “It is a great honor for me to be attending the most prestigious dinner in Washington DC with the President (-elect) of the US.”

In another tweet, Singh shared a few minutes long speech of President-elect Donald Trump that he delivered during the pre-inaugural dinner.
In the video, Trump can be heard introducing his son-in-law and his senior advisor in the White House starting from tomorrow, Kushner at the event. “In the audience, there’s a special person, who’s worked very hard, who married very well it’s my daughter Ivanka… I sort of stole her husband. He is so great…I have a feeling Jared (Kushner) is going to do a great job,†Trump said.

The Indian singer also managed to get Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka to pose along with him for a selfie that he posted in Twitter with the caption “Enjoying this wonderful party…thanxx @IvankaTrump for such a great hospitality… it is lovely meeting you God bless.â€

Ivanka can be seen wearing an elegant black waist and a matching monochrome earrings in the selfie posted by Singh.
The inaugural concert kick started with the thumping performance of Indian American DJ and drummer Ravi Jakhotia who set the right tone for rest of the night in the Lincoln Memorial.
In the subsequent tweet, Singh spoke high of Donald Trump. “What a privilege it’s being in the same vicinity as Donald Trump… His presence has brightened up the whole evening,” Mika tweeted.

It has been also confirmed that a Hindu priest will be among the various religious leaders who will offer prayers at the National Prayer Service after the oath taking ceremony of Trump on Saturday.
