The first season of Master of None was aired on November 2015. The story was about Dev, played by Ansari, trying to find ways for adapting to the New York City life. The series was a complete entertainer with each episode making an instant connect with the audience in the way it portrayed dating, friendship and more.
The series was a breakthrough in the career of multifaceted Ansari who is also the writer and director of the Netflix series.
The first series concluded in December 2015 and since then fans of Master of None have been waiting for the next series to begin. Finally, last week, Netflix released the first trailer for the season two of Master of None, which has till now received 470,798 views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, the Indian American actor/comedian is all busy doing promotion for the part two of his series, getting people excited about the content.
This time, Dev returns to New York to take on challenges in his personal and family life, a new career opportunity, and a complex, developing relationship with someone very meaningful to him.
The one-minute long trailer is a blend of New York and Italian culture, with the background score set to Italian music. It takes us through of delicious foods, picturesque sunsets, pool parties, dancing and all other excitements that can be expected in the second season of Master of None.
Ansari will be reuniting with the cast that include Lena Waithe, Eric Wareheim and his real parents, Shoukath and Fatima Ansari, who will be playing the roles of Dev’s parents in the second edition of the much-anticipated Master of None.
Master of None Season Two will be available to stream via Netflix on May 12.
