TiEcon is one of the largest entrepreneurial conferences in the world. Worth magazine named TiEcon as one of the top 10 conferences worldwide, alongside Demo, TED and World Economic Forum. Last year, the non-profit attracted more than 4,700 participants from 22 countries. The conference offers valuable workshops with an opportunity to network with the successful entrepreneurs. One of the main attractions of the event is the TiE50 program.
In the TiE50 program, the organization selects 50 top presentations of the early-stage startups, from all over the world. According to the TiEcon website more than 2000 projects are screened every year to shortlist the finalists. Thereafter, about 100 finalists are invited to attend the TiEcon event. This year’s finalists will showcase their talent to a panel of judges, and the winners will be announced on May 5, 2017. The judges for the competition are experts who are best in their fields. They include serial entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, CEOs and technology experts.
