Indian American Nurses Association of North Texas (IANANT) organized Nurses Day souvenir on May 7, Sunday, at the Crystal Banquet Hall, to celebrate the National Nurses Week and the 22nd anniversary of the association.
This souvenir was focused on topics and issues related to Nursing and Healthcare. This year’s souvenir was based on the theme “Nurse- The balance of body, mind, and spiritâ€.
National Nurses Week is celebrated thru May 6–12.
The event was attended by the families and friends of Indian American Nurses based in Dallas. Victoria England, the Magnet Program Director at UT Southwestern Medical Center delivered the keynote address at the event.
The event included APN Forum inauguration, nursing awards distribution, and recognition, followed by souvenir release, dances, music, door prizes and more.
Indian American Nurses Association of North Texas (IANANT)Â is a not-for-profit organization under the rules and regulations of non-profit organizations whose primary goal is to unite all nurses with Indian heritage, and nursing students of Indian origin; and heritage as a professional body under one umbrella at regional and state level.
IANANT declares itself to be the official voice for Indian nurses in North Texas and outside for professional nursing issues and problems.
