Hillary Clinton says that Twitter mystery was a deliberate attempt by Trump to divert attention from his misdeeds.
President Donald Trump’s ‘covfefe’ tweet was Wednesday’s trending topic and, finally, Hillary Clinton could dispel the confusion saying that it was for Russians.
“I thought it was a hidden message to the Russians,” Clinton quipped, according to an Associated Press report.
The 2016 Democratic Party presidential candidate said that Trump and his allies intend to sidetrack Americas’ attention from the controversial topics like Russian intervention during the Presidential campaign and Republican health care bill through various social media posts.
She also pointed to the length of Russian involvement in the Presidential elections the intelligence assessment that said Russia helped Trump to defeat Clinton.
Clinton remarks came during an interview at Recode’s Code Conference and the former first lady also posted a tweet saying “People in covfefe houses shouldn’t throw covfefe.”
The President, who tweeted “Despite the constant negative press covfefe” on Tuesday Midnight later deleted the post after it garnered more than 23,000 re-tweets and more than 67,000 likes within two hours.
“Who can figure out the true meaning of “covfefe” ???” he later asked.
