Harris challenged Sessions to produce documents on his work as a top advisor to the Trump campaign
Sen. Kamala Harris, who was once again interrupted by Republican senators during a Senate hearing, asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions to answer her questions. She told the Republican Senators that ‘the women of the United States Senate will not be silenced’ and she will fight back.
The Indian American Senator from California took to twitter and suggested Sessions to refresh his memory.
““I don’t know” “I don’t recall” “I don’t remember.” Did you refresh your memory with any written documents? #SessionsHearing,” Harris wrote.

“It was a simple question. Can Sessions point to the policy, in writing, that allows him to not answer a whole host of our questions today,” she asked adding that the Attorney General is supposed to serve the American people, not Trump or whoever may be in office at the time.

It's unacceptable that Sessions – the top law enforcement official in the country – cannot name his legal basis for evading questions.

Earlier on Tuesday, Harris challenged Sessions to produce documents on his work as a top advisor to the Trump campaign during the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in its investigation into Russian election interference.
“I’m not able to be rushed this fast,” New York Times quoted Sessions answering Harris at one point during the tense interrogation. “It makes me nervous.”

But similar to what happed during last week’s hearing with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Harris was interrupted by Republican Senators Richard M. Burr and John McCain.
Several observers suggested possible racial undertones and pointed to a case of sexism.
“Again, @SenKamalaHarris was doing her job. She was interrupted for asking tough questions. I was not interrupted,” Ron Wyden, Democrat Senator from Oregon tweeted.

Twice Kamala Harris is the ONLY senator being directed to let a witness answer, despite other sen's talking over them as well. #Mansplaining
