Ivanka Trump met Indian Prime Minister in Hyderabad, India, on the sidelines of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
Trump who is leading a high-level delegation of top US officials and entrepreneurs, arrived in Hyderabad early Tuesday.
She will address the summit in the plenary session on ‘Be the Change-Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership’ along with India’s Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the summit co-hosted by the US and India.
Early in the day, Trump met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and held a discussion on women entrepreneurship and empowerment.
She will also attend a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Taj Falaknuma Palace hotel in Hyderabad.

More than 1500 entrepreneurs from US, India, and other countries are attending the three-day summit held in India for the first time.
Speakers from around 40 countries will address the summit and entrepreneurs from about 100 countries will participate in the 8th GES.
Conceived by former President Barack Obama, GES was previously held in Washington, Istanbul, Dubai, Marrakech in Morocco, Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur and Silicon Valley in the United States.
Noted personalities including TVS Capital chairman Gopal Srinivasan, Essel Group chairman Subhash Chandra, IBM India chairman Vanitha Narayanan, Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal, and tennis champion Sania Mirza will attend the event.
The speakers include John Chambers, Chairman, USISPF; Cherie Blair, Founder, Cherie Blair Foundation for Women; Prem Watsa, Chairman and CEO, Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd; Marcus Wallenberg, Chairman, SEB, a Swedish financial group; Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director and CEO, ICICI Bank and Tessy Thomas, Director, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
