2018 USA India Business Summit and Georgia Tech Global Business Forum on Aug. 28-29

A number of top level executives and delegates from the US, India and Israel to attend the two-day event.

The annual USA India Business Summit (UIBS) and Georgia Tech Global Business Forum will be held in Atlanta on August 28 and 29.

The theme of the two-day event, which will be held at the Historic Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech, is “Engage, Leverage and Accelerate — Business 2 Business Connections and Innovations,” the Chair of the USA India Business Summit Ani Agnihotri told The American Bazaar.

The focus areas of the conference include Internet of Things, advanced manufacturing, smart cities and robotics, he added.

A number of top level executives and delegates from India and Israel, as well as the United States, will attend the event, said Agnihotri, who is also the founder of UIBS and president and CEO of IIIrd Millennium Technologies, Inc., an Atlanta-based technology firm that provides information technology and outsourcing solutions.

Among prominent speakers include legendary Indian American marketing guru Jagdish Sheth; Consul General of Japan Takashi Shinozuka; Chairman of the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency Shailendra Shukla; Chief Marketing Officer of Wipro Naveen Rajdev; Co-founder, Chairman and President of Siklu Inc. Izik Kirshenbaum; and Richard M. Rossow, Senior Adviser and the Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

The registration fee, according to the conference website, is $225 for the two-day event, which includes registration for the reception. The fee for the first day of the event is $145 and for the second day it is $95 per person.

According to the organizers, the conference is open to all.

The event has been a permanent feature in Atlanta’s business calendar since 2010, when the first USA India Business Summit was held.
