The workshop, which will focus on scaling and growing ventures, will feature prominent speakers from the area.
The Washington, DC, chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE DC) will host a startup workshop in Vienna, VA, just outside of the nation’s capital, on June 1.
The theme of the workshop is “Scaling and growing” and it is designed for all entrepreneurs. According to the organizers.
“The workshop is part of TiE DC’s commitment and effort to enhance entrepreneurship by training, mentoring and investing in start-up ventures,” said Smita Siddhanti, President of TiE DC.
The workshop will feature more than 15 experts and speaker, including Sundar Vaidyanathan of Karsun Solutions, Marco Rubin of Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), Peter Horst of CMO, Inc., Kay Kapoor of Arya Technologies and Suresh Shenoy, President of the WHEELS Global Foundation.
TiE DC said the workshop will provide an excellent opportunity for the delegates learn about scaling and growing ventures to position their startups for success and growth.
“It will also provide an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to meet with successful entrepreneurs,” said Shiva Thirumazhusai, a TiE DC board member.
One of the highlights of the event will be an “Elevator Pitch Fest.”
The workshop would commence with a breakfast and networking opportunity, followed by a message by keynote speaker Roy Kapani, Chairman and CEO of KapCo Holdings. This will be followed by a panel by CEOs on “Hacking Growth Through Sales and Marketing.”
