President fires two top honchos on camera before limiting H-1B workers in government contracts.
Before he signed a new Executive Order banning federal contractors from replacing Americans with foreign workers, President Donald Trump acted the way he did in a previous avatar on a reality TV show.
“If you betray American workers, then you will hear two simple words: ‘You’re fired’,” he said a la “The Apprentice,” the reality game show that he presented from 2004 to 2015.
The warning came with the dismissal of two top executives of government owned company before a roomful of US Tech Workers witnessing signing at the White House Monday.
“I’m signing an executive order to ensure that the federal government lives by a very simple rule: Hire American,” Trump said before signing the order that also outlaws offshoring of government work.
“I’ll also be taking firm, disciplinary action against the leadership of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), which has sadly and cruelly betrayed American workers,” Trump said.
Announcing the dismissal of chairman, James Thompson, and board member Richard Howorth, the President also demanded the removal of CEO Jeffrey Lyash.

“Lyash, made a disastrous and heartless decision,” Trump said. “The TVA announced that it would lay off over 200 American workers and replace them with cheaper foreign workers brought in from overseas.”
He also accused the TVA leadership of ordering “the American workers to train their foreign replacements, rubbing salt in their very open wound.”
“It doesn’t work that way,” Trump said, “As we speak, we’re finalizing H1-B regulations so that no American worker is replaced ever again.”
“H1-Bs should be used for top, highly paid talent to create American jobs, not as inexpensive labor program to destroy American jobs,” he said.
“If the TVA does not move swiftly to reverse their decision to rehire their workers, then more board members will be removed,” Trump warned.
“Furthermore, the board must immediately hire that new CEO who puts the interest of American workers first,” he said claiming “Lyash, is ridiculously overpaid.”
“He earns $8 million a year. Did you know that? Eight million,” Trump said. “He’s the highest-paid government official of any country anywhere in the world.”
“So let this serve as a warning to any federally appointed board,” the President said, “If you betray American workers, then you will hear two simple words: ‘You’re fired.’ ‘You’re fired.’”
Stacy Whetzell, who has been working at TVA since1975 told the meeting, “Using H1-B workers to replace capable and willing American citizens is turning entire American communities upside down.”
One worker said the outsourced foreign companies were largely based in France, India, Ireland, Canada. “All these firms (were) H1-B visa dependent,” said another. “And 70 percent of H1-B visa workers in the United States come from one country: mainly, India.”
“Unbelievable,” responded Trump. “And they get us in many other ways too, but we’re stopping it, as you noticed. That’s very interesting.”
Set up in 1933, TVA has an annual revenue of over $11 billion and its operations in seven states range from hydro and nuclear power generation to fertilizer manufacture.

Lets get rid of this H1B, L1, F1, EAD-OPT visa scum from india permanently. They’ve destroyed entire companies, communities and ravaged every city where they migrate en masse. Take a look at Edison NJ — garbage dump like no other. Third world mess just like Mumbai. Enough already, deport them all back to their own dump.
