Unique five side by side cricket fields to help increase participation and develop young cricketers.
Atlanta Paramveers owned by Jayesh Patel and Seema Desai Patel have launched a major initiative to promote cricket in America and Atlanta, Georgia with the opening of five cricket fields in Cartersville, Georgia.
The new cricket fields were inaugurated recently at the Paramveers Sports Complex with puja performed by Yoginayandas Swami and Yagnanand Swami from BAPS Temple, Atlanta.
Five side by side cricket fields at the same facility/venue are unique in USA and it does promise many future possibilities for the cricket development and competitive events, according to a media release from the team.
Dedicated fields to support cricket as well as youth cricket under Atlanta Paramveer youth cricket academy is a major step to increase participation and develop young cricketers in the area and USA, it said.

The new fields will be primarily used for Atlanta Param Veers and affiliated teams, academies, and youth programs with the cricket academy all set with plans for youth cricket in summer.
“It’s dream come true for all of us, as our vision to help the game and provide all possible support to all players out there,” said owners Jayesh and Seema Desai Patel expressing their happiness.
‘Lack of local facility was our biggest hurdle, even though the team made huge success by winning many championships over last decade and won major USA Open last year with the support and help from Universal Boss – Chris Gayle,” they said.
“We believe our players can do well with our own facility in the local area,” the Patels said. “Our goal is to help cricket fraternity and players by providing such facility which is expected to host many more events and its huge potential for many other initiatives to develop the game here in USA.”
“Besides winning championships, we have strong administration and management team to run our Paramveers operations and we are hopeful to have more support from enthusiastic cricket lovers and true fans as investors for our future needs,” they said.
2021 Atlanta Paramveers – USA Cricket Minor league, are ready to compete with the full season, and having their own facility is a plus for the players, so they can have ample time for the season preparation, the release said.
For more than last two decades, Atlanta Paramveers family has sponsored and hosted many cricket related events in Atlanta area with
the support of Jayesh and Seema Patel to promote the game, it said.
Even under corona downtime during 2020, Atlanta Paramveers won the prestigious US Open Championship with the MVP & Star Performer of the tournament “The Boss” – Chris Gayle.

The team consists of Rayad Emrit, Akeal Hosien, Khary Pierre, Damian Ebanks, Wayne Parnell, Johnson Charles, Marquino Mindley, Kissoondath Magram, Garth Garvey, Stecen Taylor, Roland Cato, Evory Dyer, Alzarri Joseeph, Mark Perchment with local players Param Patel, Darpankumar Patel and Heer Patel.
Atlanta Paramveers have made astounding progress over the last decade in local, regional, and national championships. Former Canada Coach and Current West Indies Batting Coach Monty Desai helped Atlanta Paramveers team to win US Open 2020 as head coach.
During 2021 season Jatin Patel, noted multi sports coach, mentor and professional sports analyst will serve as head coach and help and train the academy coaches to launch new programs.
Besides notable coaches, team Manager Suren Gundavaram, and other local volunteers – Nikunj Patel, Alkesh Patel, Pramod Pawar and many others contributed their time and expertise, the release said.
Iain Higgins, USA Cricket CEO visited Paramveers Cricket complex during his recent visit to Atlanta, the release said.
