President Joe Biden surprised Vice President Kamala Harris with a bouquet of flowers and a photo frame on her birthday on Wednesday. The president shared a video on his official twitter, with the greeting “Happy Birthday, @VP.â€
Harris turned 57 Wednesday.
The video show a masked Biden walking into the vice president’s office with the bouquet and the frame.
“Really? Oh, Joe!†a pleasantly surprised Harris exclaims. “Oh, I’m very touched. Thank you!â€
After a hug, she received the flowers, and says “Oh, look at how gorgeous.â€
The president then gifted his deputy a framed photo of the two of them smiling on the White House lawn. “This is my favorite,†says Harris. “I am going to hang this up with great pride.â€
Both of them posed for pictures briefly.

Later, Harris celebrated the birthday with the White House staff.

Harris was born in 1964 in Oakland, California. She was raised by her mother, the late Dr. Shyamala Gopalan, an immigrant from India. Her father, Donald Harris, is a Jamaican American.
