“This year, we celebrate the rich traditions of India and take time to soak in the rich diversity of Asian arts and culture here in Los Angeles.”
The Lotus Festival began in 1972, and the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks said it is one of the city’s largest festivals, according to local media reports.
This year’s festival takes place the weekend of July 9-10 from noon to 9 pm. People can enjoy food, drinks, activities, dragon boat races and booths with clothing, jewelry, artwork, crafts and more.
