NEW YORK: The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) is calling for nominations for the 2013 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award. The Award Gala is to take place on Wednesday, June 19 at Cipriani Wall Street, in Manhattan.
This annual event, now in its 12th year, is one of the most prestigious business awards that honor the achievement and leadership of Asian American entrepreneurs and business executives and their contributions to the economy of United States. A business forum to share and celebrate success stories around the globe, the award brings together a microcosm of Asian American elite individuals who are engaged in a wide range of industries and business interests.
The award is open to all Asian American entrepreneurs, business professionals and corporate executives. Candidates can self-nominate or be nominated by others or their companies. Nomination forms, eligibility and application requirements can be found at www.outstanding50award.com Submission must be received by April 24th.
Over 600 leading business, political and civic leaders join us every year to pay tribute to the Outstanding 50 Awardees. The award gala has featured distinguished keynote speakers, ranging from corporate America to business and cultural organizations to government officials and White House appointees, such as Aneesh Paul Chopra the first Federal Chief Technology Officer of the United States, former senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, former Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao and Vishakha N. Desai, President of the Asia Society.
Founded in 1994, AABDC is a non-profit international trade and business organization with an objective to promote and strengthen the voice and role of Asian American business community and to highlight their achievements and contributions.
