Device expected to be sold in China first.

BANGALORE: Microsoft, as expected, launched Lumia 535, the first ever smartphone from the tech giant without the brand name Nokia.
The latest Microsoft device is available in single SIM and dual SIM variants. The Dual SIM smartphone is named Lumia 535 Dual SIM and both smartphones are expected to reach stores later this month.
Microsoft has priced Lumia 535 for $136. The device is expected first arrive in countries such as China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh, before it makes its way to India.
As a curtain raiser to the official launch of Lumia 535, Microsoft announced via Lumia blog, that, “Today sees the launch of the new Microsoft Lumia 535, our “5x5x5″ smartphone package bringing a 5-inch screen, 5-megapixel front- and rear-facing camera, and free integrated Microsoft experiences (such as Skype and OneNote) to more people at an affordable price.”
The dual SIM version and the single SIM version of the new Lumia 535 shares similar hardware specifications. Like all other Lumia smartphones, Lumia 535 also runs on Windows 8.1 operating system with Denim update out of the box.
Lumia 535 features a 5 inch IPS Touch display with qHD resolution of 540×960 pixels and a pixel density of 220ppi. In addition to the 5MP rear camera with auto focus and flash, the device also has a wide angle selfie camera.
The buyers of Lumia 535 will get the full benefit of Skype, Cortana, Office and OneDrive as Microsoft has bundled these apps as part of improving the user experience of their new smartphone.
The new Lumia 535 runs on 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 Quad Core processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. The device has an in-built storage capacity of 8 GB that is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD card. Microsoft has also offered 15 GB free cloud storage space in OneDrive.
Lumia 535 is backed up with a 1905mAh removable battery which can give a maximum talk time of 11 hours in 2G and 13 hours in 3G network. The smartphone also has other connectivity features such as WiFi, Bluetooth, OTG and local sharing tools of Lumia phones like Lumia Beamer, Lumia Storyteller and Play to DLNA app.
