After, Bihar’s Class 12th examination scam, here is another incident this time from Jharkhand.
An unflattering picture has come to the fore where the students appearing for Class 11th examination in RS More College of Dhanbad can be seen cheating during their exams.
This incident came as a blow to the Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, who recently exhorted students from Bihar to come to the ‘education hub’ of Jharkhand and safeguard their image as well as career’s credibility.
In the photos, students were seen sitting in groups on lawns outside the college premises and indulging in mass copying while appearing for the examination conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council.
While some of the students were sitting together in a bench and noting down answers from books, the father of a student was seen writing answers for his son.
The incident happened on July 9, Hindustan Times reported.
However, professor of the college Manoranjan Gupta told to media that he can’t see the students cheating during the examination.
“Two are allowed together, but this is a congested place. So, 4-5 are sitting together,” Gupta said.
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) deputy chairman Phool Singh told to ‘Hindustan Times’ that he was come to know about the incident through newspapers and will take action against people responsible.
“It is a serious matter and after holding discussions with the JAC chairman (Arvind Prasad Singh), a probe will be conducted and action will be taken,” Phool singh added.
