Situated with Dubai’s cityscape on one side and the Arabian Gulf waters on the other, Four Seasons Jumeirah brings on a lot more than its spectacular location.
This astounding beach retreat with super facilities, affable staff, top sustainability credentials and amazing views of the sea is one of the loveliest places to stay in Dubai.
The suites and rooms rising from the flora are stylish and yonder relaxing, and with innumerable activities, eleven restaurants and bars and a an essentially private beach, there’s purpose to linger.

An Oasis of Comfort
As I step in the lobby, it reveals a world full of wonders within – a buzzing reception area with hip young people hopping about efficiently; the air of tranquillity set in, my check in done in a jiffy and I am led to my room.
All rooms stand out and open up to balconies fitted with cosy daybeds and a seating nook with gorgeous views either way. Design-wise, they’re all sleek and streamlined.
Their bathrooms feel like mini spas with walk-in rain showers, enormous bathtubs and ultra-fluffy bathrobes. I walk into my well-appointed premier sea facing room and am greeted by a panoramic view of the picturesque pool and the Arabian gulf.
My room is expansive and bursting with day light. Festooned in earnest creamy tones with plush, snug interiors, my room features top class amenities and what I really love the most is the voluminous walk-in bathroom with dressing facility replete with a gorgeous vanity basin, a private lavatory, all in all a sanctuary of luxury!
My baggage is stowed in the walk-in closet, which satisfies me to no end. Slippers and robes enhance the luxuries. The swimming pool is a lovely spot to watch life float by.
Later my first evening, a laze on the dream beds on the beach, softly lit, turns out to be an appealing place to bring in the change from day to night. For further relaxation, the spa draws on timeless wellness rituals.

Food & Drink
Taking over the Shai Salon at the heart of the hotel, pastry chef Nicolas Lambert is the resort’s pride and joy. Deservedly so, because not only has he won many accolades but has his signature flavors on offer are the talk of the town.
On the sea side, Pan Asian restaurant Sea Fu delivers beautiful recipes that don’t shy away from creativity, and evenings end with lively music at the bar.
Breakfast is served at the Suq and features an amazing buffet of house-baked pastries, fruits and specialties alongside an extensive made to order menu.
The Avocado toast and pancakes deserve a second order. I absolutely love the rooftop Mercury Lounge; with stunning views of the Burj Khalifa, making it perfect for a romantic dinner.
The food is great without being too fancy, and has an emphasis on quality ingredients. A culinary highlight is the restaurant village with six restaurants and yes, It’s essential to book in advance.
My vote goes all out to Mimi Kakushi for exceptional Japanese cuisine and if you are looking for Nusret of the Salt Bae fame…it’s right there.
Service
Tip-top service is Four Seasons’ trump card, and their Jumeirah outpost is no exception. From the concierge crew greeting guests at the entrance to the chirpy check-in staff (who will offer you dates packaged exclusively for the hotel), everyone is exceptionally welcoming and assertive.
